How we work
We have seen many initiatives in the data domain delivered at a slower pace than anticipated, with higher costs than budgeted.Which is mostly not due to technical challenges, but because of misaligned expectations and challenges in the adoption and ownership of data and a data platform. You could even extrapolate the challenges in play to what extent business and IT are truly integrated with each other to work as one unit, not merely on an org chart, but with a shared understanding and aligned expectations on the goals to be achieved
We are always of the forefront of technological innovation, but we believe that the continued success of a data platform is dependent on getting the fundamentals right for nurturing a true data-driven culture. These fundamentals are grounded in ownership and transparency, guided by clear measurable goals and incentives, that will help make maintaining and using data a seamless flow integrated into the day-to-day processes of running a business. Technology helps get there and continues to remove friction from organisational processes by making data more accessible and understandable, but it all starts with culture to make the transformation to a successful data-driven organisation.
We advocate for working truly agile, by starting with small empowered teams that can deliver results fast, and fostering a culture of learning fast and failing fast on a data foundation that is architected and governed to meet standards fully aligned with a data strategy that has been thoughtfully crafted. Bridging technology and business domains is crucial.
Recruiting for you
We don’t have the resources to staff a full project team for large projects. But we do know how to find the right people by not being solely dependent on what is written in a CV, as we have the network and the actual experience and expertise ourselves to identify the right candidates. We recruit for quality and do not charge a margin on a candidate’s hourly rate when a match is found. We strongly believe that this approach will help you find better qualified candidates, as they will also be incentivised by receiving fair pay for the work they are expected to do for you. We believe in and invest in the network effect that serves us and our customers.
